You're exhibiting at a trade show or special event and you want to capture prospect contact information. Here are some suggestions.
1. Well before the event implement a lead capture system on your website. Offer incentives such as event-specific give-aways to get prospects to "register". Schedule a pre-event contest such as a draw. Send invitations to your customers, suppliers and other contacts. Make sure you have a way of integrating your lead capture system with your Email follow up system.

The LinkMailPro Email Marketing Program can serve as the heart of your lead capture and follow up system.

2. Plan to have an efficient lead capture system at the show. Have online facilities to enter and save lead information - even if it is as simple as an Excel spreadsheet. Enter the information right there at the show so you can start working your list immediately after the show is over. Again, make sure your lead capture system is integrated with your Email follow up system.
3. If you used a manual lead capture system at the event - such as a fill-in card - get your lead information imported into your Email follow up system immediately after the show.
4. Immediately after the event your follow-up sales team should contact the hottest prospects by telephone, or personal Email.
5. Design a series of promotional Email messages to be sent out bi-weekly, weekly, or in some cases more frequently depending on the circumstances.
6. Make sure you have an appropriate landing page for each promotional message. A landing page is where someone lands when clicking on a link in your promotional Email messages. Each landing page should contain the complete "pitch" for the product and a way for the prospect to take the next step in the purchasing process - such as a "Contact Us Here for More Information" form.
