Thanks for visiting. Sure, go ahead and use the graphic. I picked it up from another blog.
Regarding credit cards, in my opinion they are essentially a tool to enrich the haves and enslave the have nots. Yes of course they are "useful". For instance, a customer of ours made a payment today of more than $30,000 using his VISA. That cost another of our companies hundreds of dollars (as the merchant) because it was "convenient" to use VISA. When I heard about it I asked "Why did he use VISA this time? We weren't sure but assumed it was for all the usual reasons:
1. He was proably waiting for payment from his customer and didn't have the cash.
2. He probably rationalized it by thinking he was getting "valuable air miles"
3. We needed the money right now to pay our suppliers.
Banks take this lack of liquid capital on the part of average schmucks and leverage it to make disgustingly high profits. And of course that pushes even more money their way.
They know exactly what they are doing. Most banks I know of have been moving away from low interest business loans towards the "convenience" of credit cards. If that isn't a conspiracy, I don't know what is.
Thanks for visiting. Feel free to grab the logo. I picked it up from someone else.
