Feb 28, 2006 - Linknet Tech News - According to recent survey by Virgin Mobile in the UK, the insatiable thirst for text messaging has led to record number of "repetitive strain" injuries ? particularly to peoples? thumbs.

According to the report, about 3.8 million Britons now complain of text messaging-related injuries every year. That's a 38 percent increase from five years ago.

The survey shows that 12 percent of users send 20 or more texts per day. 10 percent send as many as 100 texts per day.
