Applications of Barcode Scanners

A barcode is a machine-readable representation of information which is typically stored in a computerized database. Barcodes are designed to be read by a barcode scanner. They usually consists of dark ink on a light background to create high and low reflectance which is then converted to 1s and 0s by the use of a barcode scanner and barcode software running on a computer attached to the barcode scanner.

Award-winning barcode scanners available in the UK from Wasp Barcode are known for their quality, functionality and reliability.. Applications include retail, stock control, shipping, point-of-sale, and many others.
